Handcrafted and hand-finished out of solid zebrawood, this sculptural wood cutting + serving board features a hand-carved sculptural shape handle and was made to fit perfectly into the contemporary home.
The wood for this board was carefully selected, cut, smoothed, carved, and finished with mineral oil and beeswax before inlaying the raw brass logo - a long process that is done completely by hand. The beautiful colors and patterns of the wood grain make this board the ideal serving surface for cheeses or hors d'oeuvres while the sturdy composition of the Zebrawood makes it ideal as a surface to cut bread or prepare dinner ingrediants. Because no wood piece is the same, every board will have its own unique wood grain and patterns. Over time, the brass logo inlay will develop a lovely patina along with the wood board surface, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
