Handcrafted and hand-finished out of solid Bloodwood, this cutting and serving board was inspired by red lanterns that are hung about to celebrate the new year. The Bloodwood's natural vivid red color works perfectly as a proper lantern. This lantern board features a lovely handle at the top for easy transport or to hang as an art piece on the wall when not in use.
This board can be used as both a cutting board and a serving board during your Lunar New Year celebration, but it is recommended to cut on one side and keep the other side primarily as a serving service.
As with all our boards, this special board is carefully selected, cut, smoothed, and finished with mineral oil and beeswax - an hours-long process that is done completely by hand. Over time, the wood surface will beautifully patina, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
