Introducing a new twist on our classic toast cutting boards that we've offered for years - The Crusted Bread Slice Cutting + Serving Board!
With a “crust” of solid White Oak surrounding a solid toast-shape slice of Curly Maple, each piece has to be hand fit and glued together before being sanded to a smooth finish and oiled. This very special board is the perfect surface to serve all your friends and family and prep meals and the crust now adds an extra layer of realism.
This board can be used as both a cutting board and a serving board - we always suggest choosing one side to use primarily as a cutting surface and the other side as just a serving surface so it keeps a smooth appearance.
As with all our boards, this special board is carefully selected, cut, smoothed, and finished with food-safe mineral oil - an hours-long process that is done completely by hand. Over time, the wood surface will beautifully patina, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
