Handcrafted and hand-finished out of solid Maple and a variety of naturally colorful exotic hardwoods, this limited-edition Rainbow Cake Slice Cutting + Serving board allows you to not only eat your cake off of the board but also have your cake after you're done eating. All these wood colors are the naturally occurring colors of the wood, NO dyes, stains, or artifical coloring of any kind! 
 
This board features a inlaid strips of solid and natural colorful Bloodwood, Osage Orange, Yellowheart, Poplar, Blue Mahoe, and Purpleheart for the "cake" of the board along with a Bloodwood wood inlaid "strawberry", Poplar "stem", and Aspen "whipped cream". Perfect for any cake lover and the best addition for birthday parties and celebrations.
 
This board can be used as both a cutting board and a serving board - we always suggest choosing one side to use primarily as a cutting surface and the other side as just a serving surface so it keeps a smooth appearance. We recommend choosing the side without the inlay to chop on.
 
As with all our boards, this special board is carefully selected, cut, smoothed, and finished with food-safe mineral oil - an hours-long process that is done almost entirely by hand. Over time, the wood surface will beautifully patina, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
