Each coaster slice is carefully hand finished and hand sealed in multiple layers of a water repellent finish - a laborious process that takes several days. The set features five "dumplings" (xiao long bao) crafted from hard maple. The pleats of the dumplings are made using wood burning. A small steamer basket is included as well to store your coasters. The perfect set to use for dim sum, lunches, or dinners - wherever dumpling coasters would come in handy!
