Introducing one of Studio Inko Woodshop's most special boards - The Dim Sum Sampler Serving Board. 
 
Handcrafted and hand finished out of solid white oak to realistically mimic the appearance of a steamer basket, this serving board features an inlay collection of special dim sum specialties like a xiaolongbao, a har gow, and of course, the very special pig custard bun! Each of the inlays are made from solid wood and some of the inlays have inlays inlaid in them (inlay-ception!) such as the Pink Ivory wood for the pig bun and the red Bloodwood dot on the other custard bun. 
 
The design process for this board was prolonged by the complexity of all the pieces and then preparing and crafting the piece was extremely labor-intensive, but I am absolutely in love with the final result and hope someone who also loves dim sum will be brought joy in having this special piece in their home. You can use the board to serve dim sum (or any other food/meals) to family and friends and then display in your kitchen when not in use. 
 
As with all our boards, this special board is carefully selected, cut, smoothed, and finished with mineral oil and beeswax - an hours-long process that is done completely by hand. Over time, the wood surface will beautifully patina, a reminder of all the wonderful meals prepared and enjoyed with family and friends.
